Vinesh Pomal and Simon Drayson postgraduate students from the Portsmouth School of Architecture (University of Portsmouth, UP) in UK visited the School and spent a day with the students of class 4, 5 and 6.
This trip was part of Vinesh's architectural award, which enabled him to fly to India. They both choose to spend time with the students of the HOPE foundation School after having come to know about it through this blog.
The children along with Vinesh and Simon had a great time. They were taught basics of architectural drawing and a quick competition was organised. The winners were rewarded with special goodies from UP. All participants received pens and bookmarks.
It was special time, for the students and volunteers alike. Hope this encourages others out there to come forth and support our work in similar ways.
