HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Happy New Year Everyone!!!

During the first week, some of the students came over and asked us, if they could have a New Year's Party. Since we did not have the regular Children's Day celebration in 2013 (it was right in the middle of their Diwali break), so we decided to have a party combining both.

And so it came to pass that on the 10th of January 2014, at the HOPE foundation school, it was a day of celebrating the New Year and the Children of school. 

What was more interesting is that, the 10th of January was the designated day to give out their first term exam results to their parents! So, we had a really interesting day.

I have never seen a result day at schools being a day of celebration, until now. It was a testimony to the wonderful work of the teachers, where they had inspired the students so much that result days are not to be feared, because they have so much to live for. But yes, their parents did come, and take in all inputs given by teachers and everything was taken in with a lot of positive attitude.
